Your story although it’s a painful one with up’s and down’s it tells of your strength and how you will not give up. You are an inspiration, be encouraged and know that with your story you will cause others to want to be stronger despite their situation. I am proud to know you!

Rick, I am glad to hear that you are doing much better. Although I have only heard about your health problems through our mutual friends, I am always glad to hear that your health is progressing.
Unfortunately, it takes stories like yours to teach the rest of us perseverance and the difficulties of living with a serious health condition. I find it difficult to go through a typical day with a minor cold or headache, I can’t imagine what it would be like to be in your position.
We each deal with problems the best we can. It seems to me like you have dealth with your condition like a champ. Keep on truckin’.
P.S.-Please excuse the visible overindulgence the other day. I think I owe you and Edgar a round of GTA.

Edgar. i am humbled by your loyalty.

the only worthy news i can share is that i spent a sleepless
night practicing problems with a small group and it resulted
in my “ace-ing” a rather difficult exam. [dynamics]

my mom wants it on the fridge.

my self image has incrementally improved.. but at least i feel good for a day..

I was so happy to hear that Rique was doing jumping jacks. It sounded impossible. Rique, you are so much stronger than anyone thinks. The best part is that you have been nicer to me lately. You weren’t even nice to me before all this happened. woo hoo!!! haha jk Keep getting better. PS – I think someone should cook me a birthday dinner… just saying.

Thank you for sharing your experiences, Rick, and I am so glad that things are looking up for you now. It must be very difficult to keep yourself going when the doctors can’t tell you what the problem is, never mind giving you anything to help. I wish you all the best for the future and hope that you’ll soon be running rings around Edgar.
